Inverness lawyer denies that he hates the Mod
(August 23, 2007)KJBS MacLeod WS.a Inverness based lawyer and councillor today denied he was a National Mod hater.
Mr MacLeod a former bronze medal winner at the Ross -Shire Provincial Mod in 1953 for solo singing claims that "The Mod should be replaced by a Pan International Celtic Festival ".He further confessed that he did believe that the songs performed at the Mod "bored the pants off everyone".
Mr Macleod is councillor for Ward 17 and holds Lib /Dem views.
