Ian Duguid QC Interferes

Ian Duguid QC has interfered in a case set down for appeal.Culley McAlpine had without authority discussed a clients case which was under review by a fellow advocate Chris Shead with Ian Duguid without knowledge or permission of the client. Duguid has been reported as one of the top earners in Scotland from the Legal Aid Board and is regarded as a senior figure in legal circles.
 
Cliff Culley a partner of the firm had given an undertaking to monitor the behavior of his associate John McLaughin but has failed to do so. McLaughin discussed the clients case without permission of the client.
 
Duguid has advised that if there is a complaint it should be directed to the appropriate body.
