LAW SOCIETY CONFIRM THAT A REPORTER CAN NOW BE APPOINTED

The Law Society of Scotland have confirmed on the 30th January 2007 that they are now in a position to refer a further complaint against Deryck de Maine Beaumont, Solicitor, Balnaguard, Pitlochry to a reporter. No date has yet been given as to when a reporter can be allocated. The complaint was submitted to the Law Society in September 2006. Mr Beaumont has been told by the Law Society on the 31st of March 2006 that they believed he had unsound business practices and in order to protect the public they were to restrict his practising certificate for three years and asked him within this time to dispose of his practice.
